Welcome back to the Spotlight BACC! Here’s the second half of the Original Household’s week. And as always, here are there guides: The Household Guide and The Extended Family Guide.
I tried to make sure that Lancelot and Jaxson’s kids visited so that they could all keep bonding with their dads, and it was real cute.
… mostly.
Bless Leia, she’s got that forced happy mom face of someone trying to smooth over their difficult child.
Since Daisy is pregnant, and since she and Moses do have some actual romance, I had Moses give her a house key so that she could come by whenever. I’m really hoping that these two will get together, y’all.
Meanwhile, Emilia made friends with some plants.
I am glad that I moved these three in. They’re a cute trio. ❤ I feel bad that I haven’t added Jaxson’s daughters to the rotation, too, but I didn’t want to throw in a ton of new sims at once, you know?
These two are so cute. ❤ My disaster OTP.
Something about this moment just felt very on brand for Darien.
Look at this cute little fourth wall breaking angel!
So these two don’t get along since Lancelot is Good and Darien is Evil, and Darien wanted to make an Enemy, so I figured they might as well go ahead and be official enemies.
Luckily we have Moses to keep the peace, for the most part. I just love Moses? He’s such a chill presence.
Speaking of things that aren’t exactly chill but I do love–it was time for the weekly Toddler gathering!
The bear was the star of the show.
But there were lots of cute sims interactions, too.
… and some chaos, of course.
Bless you, Daisy. Bless you.
… meanwhile, Siobhan.
I mean, it’s not like she can get more pregnant.
These cute family moments. ❤
Another day, another opportunity for Jaxson and Lancelot’s kids to come over.
Ginny and her aunt Leia had a really precious little bonding session, which made me really happy. They’re both just so cute.
I just love Ginny. She’s one of my favorites for sure. ❤
Will I photograph and post about all their cute moments? Yes, yes I will.
Darien is a thorny soul, but he and Moses do genuinely get along really well, which makes me happy.
Got in the obligatory Kids’ Club meeting, too.
Though it wasn’t purely delightful. ;;;;; I mean, I do like that some of them have more difficult personalities, and I like the conflict adding some depth to this particular save, but I’m just constitutionally built to be emo in the face of conflict.
And of course I had to get in a shot of Leia nourishing her beloved plants.
So I’d prepared a whole wedding look for Leia, but she showed up on the lot in this gown and it just really worked for her, so I let her keep it. Especially since it was Jude and Daisy approved.
… Sofia, bb, no, it still isn’t time for your wedding.
Meanwhile Emilia isn’t going to let a little thing like me not including her in the wedding party stop her from showing up on the lot. That judgmental fourth wall breaking stare had me cracking up.
Ah, bless.
I just can’t get over how cute Rocky is, or over how cute the animations for this Toddler playground equipment are.
Meanwhile, Maci is weepy because she’s on her period, but in this context (especially compared to how smug Lancelot looks) it would have been a great shot for some divorced couple conflict in a narrative story.
I have to say, my sims are getting much better behaved at weddings.
And after all this time and drama, it was finally time for these crazy kids to tie the knot. It was a beautiful ceremony–well, until a thunderstorm started at the very end. Let’s just hope it isn’t an omen.
Brielle: “GET A $#$)(*#$ING INDOOR WEDDING VENUE!”
Believe me, bb, I’m trying.
Let’s hope these synchronized father-daughter glitchy arms aren’t an omen, too.
… so I moved them all back to the house so that we could have the afterparty out of the rain, but apparently Diane didn’t get the hint??
Same, Jaxson and Leia. Same.
So Malcolm has a custom trait, Rocket, and one aspects of it is that he’ll fight himself a lot. It’s endlessly entertaining because he has a penchant for doing it right next to pieces of furniture, which gives me moments like this one, where it looks like he’s fighting the fridge instead.
I think Daisy and Emilia are settling in just fine. ❤ Thanks again for sharing them with me, Marina!
Another great parent-child duo! I think they’re settling in just fine, too.
I’m just always so proud when the residents actually autonomously woohoo with their actual partners.
And I’ll end the update with this sweet moment! One of the mods I have in expands family interactions and whims a lot, and one thing it adds to the game is that sims can roll wants for things like asking sims to feel their belly or to feel a pregnant sim’s belly. And Darien rolled that want constantly, which was just really sweet. I feel like Evil sims are the kinds of sims who may be Evil but are fiercely loyal to people they consider theirs, and Darien is my latest example of that.
