Brock and his twin sister, Maci, are the children of one of my Redmond Legacy spares. There have been a number of spare Redmonds that I wanted another chance to play, but I thought these two would fit in best with the other sims I decided to import. The fact that Brock has the Angling Ace aspiration, which is doable in the beginning stages of a BACC, didn’t hurt any! Unfortunately, Brock was also the first Spotlight resident to pass away–he died of Laughter at the end of year 4.

 

Charles Seagraves

Charles, his wife Mabel, and their son Mekhi were the first pre-existing family to be added to the BACC. They are originally from my Redmond Legacy save. He has the Joke Star aspiration, so his career plans are on hold until we can add a Lounge lot to the neighborhood. In the meantime he takes care of his kids. He was invited to join the Paragons Club, and during one of their meetings he hooked up with Sofia Bjergson, which resulted in the birth of their daughter, Diane. After that he and Mabel had their second child, Jordan.

 

Jude Morgan

Jude is the oldest child of my fourth generation 100 Baby Challenge sims, and has always been one of my favorite Morgan spares. After taking out a couple of loans, he became the first resident to operate a business–the town’s first restaurant, the Genesis Diner! (Named after his mother.)

 

Lancelot Royal

Lancelot is Leia’s younger brother, and was the first sim to be added to the BACC. Despite being Good, he has the Chief of Mischief aspiration, and is one of the sims who can be found yelling at people for no particular reason. He also has this very odd glitch where he almost always has the moodlet Charming Toddlers get when they haven’t socialized enough, so he is pretty much perpetually sad and therefore perpetually has the teary eyes thanks to the Slice of Life mod. In conclusion, he’s kind of a bratty handful, but I have a soft spot for him.

 

Leia Royal

Leia is from my original TS4 save, where she and Naomi were the co-heiresses of my fourth generation. I actually got bored and stopped playing when their kids were Teens, but am still really fond of Leia and Naomi, so I wanted to be able to play them again, especially since Leia got kind of a rough deal in her first save. I’ve always viewed Leia as being the “group mom” type: she wants to take care of everyone around her, and is just all around the epitome of a family sim.

 

Mabel Seagraves

Traits: Hot-Headed, Vegetarian

Mabel, her husband Charles, and her son Mekhi were the first pre-existing family to be added to the BACC. They are originally from my Redmond Legacy save. She was the first sim to complete her aspiration. Her writing career has actually made the Seagraves household one of the more prosperous ones in the neighborhood overall. She has had two children since moving into the game–Jordan (with Charles) and Malcolm (after she hooked up with Jaxson Hill while I was playing another household.)

 

Maci Redmond

Maci is Brock’s twin sister, and absolutely darling. There’s not really a lot to say about her other than that she’s just really great, and I really enjoy having her in my game. I’m actually currently thinking that she’ll eventually be the town’s doctor: I do have an available slot open for a town doctor, but one of my unofficial rules is that sims can’t get a job outside the home until they’ve maxed Charisma, and Maci hasn’t done that yet.

 

Naomi Royal

Naomi is Leia and Lancelot’s cousin and was the fourth generation co-heiress in my original save. She has the Party Animal aspiration, so I put her in charge of throwing events in the BACC. She’s very sociable and does well at keeping up with everyone, and I just always think that if she were a real person she’d be the type that lights up any room the second she walks in. As soon as I unlocked a Politics opening, I had her take it, since I envision her as being the town’s Mayor.

Natalie is from the fourth generation of my 100 Baby Challenge. She’s Jude’s younger sister. She was almost the Matriarch there, but her younger sister, Sadie, nabbed the role at the last minute. (I sometimes wonder if she knows that, given that in the BACC right now she has 5 kids and wants more.) I ended up neglecting Natalie in her original save and have always felt bad about it, so when I decided to do a BACC she was the first sim I decided to add to it.

 

Ricardo Tellez

Ricardo was a townie from the original Spotlight save, where he met and fell for Siobhan Fyres. After the birth of their daughter, Loretta, they became an official couple, and in the new save they formed their own household.

 

Siobhan Fyres

Siobhan is a pre-made Maxis sim from the Get Together pack. She and Brock slept together during one of the rotations, resulting in the birth of their son Roger. Since I didn’t want Roger to age out of sync with his half-siblings, I waited until I had earned another resident opening, then used it to move Siobhan into the main house. She later began a relationship with Ricardo, resulting in the birth of their daughter, Loretta. She, Ricardo, Roger and Loretta moved into their own household when I transferred the save onto my new computer.

 

Sofia Bjergsen

Sofia is a pre-made Maxis sim from the Get Together pack. She and Charles Redmond hooked up during a Paragons Club meeting, resulting in the birth of their daughter Diane. When I earned another CAS sim slot, I used it to move Sofia and Diane into the main house. She began a relationship with Sergio Romeo, and also became pregnant by him, only to discover that he Hates Children. They broke up before she gave birth to her second daughter, Kirsten. She still lives with Leia in the main house.
